And with that in mind, I learned something new today from a fellow commuter while waiting for our bus to arrive. What is it you ask? It is the method of organizing, you might heard about it, since the person that made it popular graced the media, the net and on radios worldwide. Kondo’s method of organizing is known as the KonMari method, and consists of gathering together everything you own, one category at a time, and then keeping only those things that “spark joy” (tokimeku in Japanese, literally “flutter, throb, palpitate”[7]), and choosing a place for everything from then on.
